Green Construction as Essential Approach in Sustainable Design: Comprehensive Review
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The urban area has noticeably higher temperatures than other areas located in the undeveloped area. This is due to the overlapping of large areas of the original vegetation with the construction of buildings and roads. Concrete and asphalt surfaces absorb a large amount of heat from the sun that radiates back into the environment. The impact of ever-expanding urban arrest increases the intensity of so-called thermal islands, and life in some cities becomes difficult in the summer months. Due to the absence of green areas in the cities, natural drainage sites and waters disappear. One solution to prevent this problem is to design more green in cities. Greened facades, or greened roofs, are able to retain water and evaporate it due to its properties. The planting of plants on the facade opens up completely new functional and creative possibilities of construction and urban planning. The use of greenery on the facades is mainly due to their great contribution to the surroundings and the building itself.
