Risk and integrative approach to indoor environment quality in buildings
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The current building sector is undergoing major changes due to increased pressure to reduce energy consumption in buildings and increase the share of renewable energy sources. Modern systems and technologies can save energy, but also affect the quality of the indoor environment. In terms of air quality, attention was paid to the exterior, such as emission limits, etc. The indoor environment is generally a physical reality that surrounds the living organism with which it interacts, and which constantly contributes to its physical state. In both new and refurbished existing buildings, users are increasingly facing problems with thermal comfort, air quality and other components of the indoor environment. The discomfort often leads to Sick Building Syndrome. Energy-saving measures - window replacement and thermal insulation of the building envelope - are a very common reason. The indoor environment is a significant factor affecting the quality of buildings with an impact on the environment, work productivity and health of users. Energy-saving measures such as window replacement and thermal insulation of the building envelope are a very common reason. An integrated approach to the creation of the internal environment includes, inter alia reducing the production of pollutants in the indoor environment, maintaining the optimum humidity level, meeting hygiene requirements for air exchange, and preventing the access of pollutants from the outside.
