The poster presents the results of the calibration areas to simulate a surface contamination mapping using drone carrying a newly developed dose-rate meter. The detector is a cylinder containing a crystal of plastic polystyrene-based scintillator. Thanks to its small size and low weight, it can be fixed on an UAV or a UAG. Using this kit makes possible to measure places with high contamination levels (high doses, which could endanger the health of responders) or areas where cannot be used a helicopter (e.g. the urban agglomeration at the lower flight altitudes etc.). To test and calibrate the kit (UAV - detector) the point sources (226Ra, 137Cs, 60Co) and the areal source of 137Cs were used. The measurements were carried out at several heights above the ground. This work was supported by the project MV CR ID: VG20122015083. Presented at International Conference on Global Emergency Preparedness and Response.
