Comparison of several pig breeds in fattening and meat quality in some experimental condition of a Czech region The (LWxL)xH breed was the best followed by (LWxL)x(BLxD). The content of intramuscular fat in m.l.l.t. was lower in hybrids of LW (imported),BL and D breeds (1.3-1.7% unlike 1.7-1.9%), all in father positions. The young boars of (LWxL)xCMP breed absolutely best in daily gains, feed consumption and lean meat, however, the lowest in the content of dry matter, protein and intramuscular fat of m.l.l.t. (1.1%), and also the lowest in the evaluation of all sensorial criteria.
