Belly lean proportion in large white and landrace pig breeds
Original language description
The results did not reveal any significant effect of breed on lean proportion in belly. It appears that lean meat in belly is more closely related to the overall carcass lean proportion. It is indicated by the correlation coefficients between lean proportion in belly and carcass which were 0.80 and 0.71 for large White and Landrace pigs respectively.
