Musical Literary in Primary Education
Original language description
Musical literacy is a complex of abilities, skills and knowledge that can be used in practical aspects of life. The abilities are of paramount importance in this context. That is why research in the fi eld of music education already focused on them in the past. The authors aimed to ascertain what the level of music literacy is at present, and they therefore focused on research into musical abilities, too. The research results indicate that the musical abilities are developed adequately and proportionately. They also point out the need to monitor both the development of musicality and knowledge.
