In the high competitive environment it is necessary to segment customers not only in accordance with their needs and buyer behaviour but, in order to increase company performance, according to customer value, too. This segmentation can be used for both optimal customers serving strategy selection and solvency and efficiency control. The article deals with the process of segmentation of customers according to their value and consequently with the possible ways of using the concept for growth in company financial results.
