    Modern method for evaluation of antibiograms

    This chapter focuses on assessment techniques of antimicrobial properties of antibiotics for Arcobacter spp. These bacteria can cause a lot of diseases. There are several methods for evaluation of antimicrobial properties of antibiotics - e. g. agar disk diffusion assay, agar well diffusion or agar dilution assay, etc. In this chapter are presented some results achieved using the agar disc diffusion method. Antibiograms evaluation was performed using modern system BACMED(R) 6iG2 that evaluates inhibition zones.
