    Untraditional Actuators For Robotics - Shape Memory Alloy

    In this work is presented Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) as a type of unconventional actuator for robotics. There is description of Shape Memory Effect (SME) principle. Advantages and disadvantages of this compositions and it's using in application are discussed. There are considered the types of the controlling SME and problems with physical modeling of the behaviors of SMA. Bellow is also introduced concise survey of other fields and applications where are SMA used.
