Original language description
The contribution investigates the Star-HSPICE tools to extract user-defined model parameters. The individual steps included in model description, input data formatting, model parameters optimization and model evaluation are analysed and described. The extraction method using HSPICE input statements is proposed and applied to find the parameter values of the user-defined bipolar transistor forward beta model. The measured and modeled data are compared to evaluate extraction method accuracy and efficiencyy.
