EXPERIMENTAL MOBILE ROBOTS
Original language description
This paper presents mobile robots for experiments and testing various algorithms. First part of the paper describes small testing robots used for Micromouse and Path-follower competitions. These robots are mostly used for education. Our students develophardware as well as software and can test their algorithms on these robots. Second part of the paper is dedicated to bigger robots, which can be used for testing of more complicated algorithms. Especially multi-robot cooperative area exploration algorithms will be tested. These robots were developed to be universal and can be modified easily. Construction, differential chassis and hardware of the testing robots are described. The paper describes briefly rescue robotics, multi-robot rescue systems and autonomous robots.
