The research, the results of which are being presented, has been conducted as a pilot study for a future larger research project into the role of corporate culture relating to strategic management of Czech firms. The aim of the pilot study had been to gather primary information about the degree of uniqueness of the strategic aspects of corporate culture in Czech firms. The research has shown that in the vast majority of studied firms correlation between managers´ answers was relatively low. The highestcorrelation of answers in studied firms was with questions concerning the management of employees, the most contradictory were the managers´ views on what holds the firm together.
