    The research, the results of which are being presented, has been conducted as a pilot study for a future larger research project into the role of corporate culture relating to strategic management of Czech firms. Quality of products and quality of services are in the foreground of the interest of the companies aspiring to achieve the satisfaction of the customer and competitiveness on the market. If the company wants to be really effective in the field of the reaching of the quality, it should not forget the important determinant of the quality in the company - to the real inner acceptance of the values and norms conditioning the quality of both production and services, to the company culture. The aim of the research was not to map the company cultureof the studied companies but to get the orientation knowledge regarding the typical types of thinking of the mangers in the Czech companies (from the point of the strategic aspects of the company culture and with relation to Total Custome
