    Comparison of Food Pathogens Occurrence in Raw Milk between Ecological and Conventional Farms

    We investigated the occurrence of food pathogens Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, E. coli O157 and Listeria monocytogenes in bulk tank milk samples collected from ecological (n=13) and conventional (n=32) dairy farms. Our resultsshowed that food pathogens occurrence was lower for ecological farms, except for S. aureus. For conventional dairy farms, B. cereus and S. aureus were detected in 9 (28.1%), E. coli in 14 (43.8%), and L. monocytogenes in 3 (9.4%) of those farms, respectively. E. coli O157 was not isolated from milk in conventional farms. For ecological farms, B. cereus was identified in 2 (15.4%), S. aureus in 5 (38.5%), and E. coli in 2 (15.4%) cases, respectively, while L. monocytogenes and E. coli O157 were not isolated from this type of farm.

    Byla vyšetřena přítomnost potravních patogenů Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, E. coli O157 a Listeria monocytogenes v syrovém mléce z ekologických (n=13) a konvenčních mléčných farem (n=32). Výsledky ukazují, že výskyt potravních patogenů byl nižší u ekologických farem, vyjma S. aureus. U konvenčních farem byl B. cereus a S. aureus detekován v 9 vzorcích (28.1%), E. coli ve 14 (43.8%), a L. monocytogenes ve 3 (9.4%). Výskyt E. coli O157 byl negativní. U ekologických farem byl zjištěn B. cereus ve 2 případech (15.4%), S. aureus v 5 (38.5%), a E. coli ve 2 (15.4%). Výskyt L. monocytogenes a E. coli O157 byl negativní.
