SITUATIONAL ALGORITHMIC TASKS WITH THE ASSEMBLING OF PROGRAM CODE AS A TOOL FOR DEVELOPING COMPUTATIONAL THINKING

  • Original language description

This paper summarizes the experience with the development of situational algorithmic tasks, the solution of which is based on assembling a program from blocks. This paper deals with the didactic background of two created templates (worlds) in which a given problem is solved by programming a sprite. Based on these templates, sets of tasks, which are applicable in lessons as part of the new computer science cur-riculum, were created. Moreover, other tasks, which were included in the Bebras Chal-lenge, were created. Being used in lessons, these tasks were perceived by teachers as useful, beneficial and they were found not being difficult for pupils
