Original language description
The article responds to the obligation of the Czech and Slovak Republics to build up the European Union Battle Formation (EU BG) by 1 July 2009 including its logistic support in the area of food security. The main tasks in this area are to provide subsistence of bakery products for soldiers in multinational operations, to solve the problem with the lack of bakery products in such operations and the way of commissary preparation of the EU BG in2009. The proposal is based on the costs calculation during amission. The bakery mixtures (premixes) have been researched at the University of Defense in Brno for the production of traditional Czech products (wheat-rye and rye-wheat bread, current pastry, whole grain pastry and fine pastry), and the possibilitiesof their consumption in the Battle Group deployment.
