    Math Modeling of Control Curves for Real-Time Servomotors

    This paper deals with the mathematical modeling of control curves for real-time servomotors. In general, there are two main curves for controlling servomotors in the real time: (a) trapezoid and (b) S-curve. The latter is presented there as it provides better characteristics for high speeds. The S-curve is divided into seven parts and mathematical formulas are introduced for each part. This approach for generating control curves is being used in several applications of the authors. These applications are being developed within the research projects of the University of Defence and they are discussed in the conclusion.
