Barley varieties registered in the Slovak Republic in 2007

Original language description

In 2007, the malting varieties of spring barley Anaconda, Marthe and Sebastian were registered in the Slovak Republic. Malt of the varieties Anaconda and Marthe provided above average extract and high activity of all three studied groups of enzymes. Maltof the variety Sebastian provided high extract content and it showed a high activity of proteolytic and amylolytic enzymes. Cytolytic modification of this variety was slightly below average. All three presented varieties provided high attenuating worts.Spring barley varieties Beatrix and Slaven were registered as the non-malting ones. In autumn 2006 two-row winter varieties Boreale, Carrero, and Finesse were registered.

Odrůdy ječmene registrované ve Slovenské republice v roce 2007

Czech description

Ve Slovenské republice byly v roce 2007 registrovány sladovnické odrůdy jarního ječmene Anaconda, Marthe a Sebastian. Slad odrůd Anaconda a Marthe poskytoval nadprůměrný obsah extraktu a vysokou aktivitu všech tří sledovaných skupin enzymů. Slad odrůdy Sebastian poskytoval vysoký obsah extraktu a vyznačoval se vysokou aktivitou proteolytických a amylolytických enzymů. Cytolytické rozluštění měla tato odrůda mírně podprůměrné. Všechny tři uvedené odrůdy poskytovaly hluboce prokvašující sladiny. Jako nesladovnické byly registrovány odrůdy jarního ječmene Beatrix a Slaven. Na podzim roku 2006 byly registrovány odrůdy dvouřadého ozimého ječmene Boreale, Carrero a Finesse.
