Original language description
Lean meat share of the belly was monitored at 108 slaugter pigs by the help VIA method. The total area of the belly, meat/fat percentage were studied on the base of 3 cutting belly-points. There were proved the dependence between carcass weight on the belly-meat share as well as low correlation between total belly meat area and backfat thickness.
