An effect of the growth intensity on the loin eye area depth and width, lean meat share and bacfat thickness was monitored at various weight categories. The test was caried out at the test station at 140 animals of even sex representation of common genotypes used in the production sphere in Czech Republic. The optimum of lean meat share formation in relation to various weight categories at the fattening periode has been determined.
