    Antifungal effectiveness of Lactobacillus rhamnosus VT1 at different temperatures.

    The antifungal activity of Lactobacillus rhamnosus VT1 against moulds was evaluated by modified milk agar plate method at 30oC and 12-14oC. The mould growth inhibition was the most intensive for Fusarium sp. DMF 0101, followed by Penicillium sp. DMF 0006at both temperatures. The inhibitory effect against Aspergillus sp. DMF 0801 was less intensive, the growth of Geotrichum candidum DMF 0301 was not suppressed.

    Antifungální aktivita Lactobacillus rhamnosus VT1 proti plísním byla testována modifikovanou metodou mléčných agarových misek při 30oC a 12-14oC. Inhibice růstu plísní byla nejintenzivnější u Fusarium sp. DMF 0101, poté následoval kmen Penicillium sp. DMF 0006 při obou teplotách. Inhibiční efekt proti kmeni Aspergillus sp. DMF 0801 byl méně intensivní, růst Geotrichum candidum DMF 0301 nebyl potlačen.
