We are developing molecular-biological methods based on the detection of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) for the analysis of food ingredients, concretely polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and its variations. For the quantification of nucleic acids we used quantitative PCR with fluorescence detection in real time (qPCR).
