Characterization of temperature-induced release kinetics from liposomes

  • Original language description

This work will show differences in the release rate of CF at various temperatures. Also thermal studies of several types of liposomes will be shown. That means especially the liposomes whose membrane is made from the mixtures of DPPC, DSPC and cholesterol. DPPC has a phase change temperature of 41°C, whilst DSPC 55°C. Studies of mixture of the DPPC and DSPC vesicles showed averaging of these two relatively sharp changes in permeability in time. That observation can tell us information about the rate ofexchange of phospholipid molecules between separated liposomes below and above the phase change temperature. Changing of permeability of the lipid bilayer was also done by an induction heating of the mixture of the liposomes and magnetite nanoparticles.Particles could be simply outside of the liposomes or inside the liposome creating so-called magnetoliposomes. This provides a possibility of a magnetic field induced release of the encapsulated substance. Moreover, the release can be ste
