Synthesis and characterization of composite hollow porous lipide/fe3o4/sio2 nanoparticles for controlled release of active substances
Original language description
The goal was to prepare composite lipide/Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles from hollow porous silica shell nanoparticles (100-300 nm) prepared by soft template emulsion method, magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (5-20 nm) prepared by co-precipitation method and lipide nanoparticles (20-40 nm) prepared by high pressure homogenization.. First composite Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles were prepared by coating silica with monolayer of iron oxide. The composite particles was then loaded with active substance and coated withlayer of lipide nanoparticles to form oclusive lipide barrier which block diffusion in and out of the particles, thus preserving the active substance inside. The particles were cahracterised using transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering and electrophoretic light scattering. The release mechanism is triggered by alternating radiofrequency field which heats up the magnetic iron oxide particles and melts the lipidic barrier which opens pores and the active substance diffu
