    Rpg1p/Tif32p/eIF3a is required for translation initiation in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. We found that in unstressed cells both, GFP and mRFP fusions of Rpg1p/eIF3a were uniformly distributed throughout the cytoplasm. Upon heat shock or osmotic stress, Rpg1p/eIF3a and Nip1p/eIF3c accumulated in fluorescing granules.We suggest that Rpg1p/eIF3a mediates dynamics of stress granules.

    Rpg1p/Tif32p/eIF3a je nezbytný pro iniciaci translace v kvasince Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Zjistili jsme, že v nestresovaných buňkách obě, jak GFP tak i mRFP fůze Rpg1p/eIF3a byly rovnoměrně distribuovány v cytoplazmě. Po teplotním šoku Rpg1p/eIF3a a další eIF3 podjednotka, Nip1p/eIF3c se akumulovali ve fluoreskujících granulích. Výsledky ukazují, že Rpg1p/eIF3a umožňuje kontrolovat dynamiku vzniku stresových granulí.
