Original language description
Virtual reality technologies for supporting teaching and learning have been an academic research topic for decades. In the last five years, major progress have been made and the virtual reality technology is getting closer to being implemented in education. This paper presents an overview of the uses of virtual reality in education, specifically on the Oculus Rift platform. The purpose of this study is to explore the current use of virtual reality to support teaching and learning. The results of the study show what is the distribution of curriculum content in virtual reality applications and what are the best users' rated educational virtual reality applications.
