This article describe the various types of cash pooling, which is a system now becoming very popular in the Czech Republic, and the legal constraints in that country which affect it. When the company decides to go down the cash pooling route, it opted initially for fictive cash pooling, whose advantages and disadvantages are outlined here. The next step will be to practice the more beneficial real cash pooling, and the article identify the different processes which must be gone through before this can be implemented.
