HOLISTIC AND SERIALISTIC THINKING AS A FACTOR INFLUENCING TEXT COMPREHENSION AND STRATEGY FOR DEALING WITH TASKS
Original language description
Some experts dealing with learning styles and optimizing the educational process believe that educational material should be designed so as to substantially match either holistic or serialistic thinking of students. Their view is justified by the assertion that if students receive learning materials that are in contradiction to their learning styles, learning can be difficult and inefficient. Our survey attempted to find out whether it is true.
