Effect of Dry Matter Content and Inoculation on Ruminal Protein Degradability in Alfalfa Silages
Original language description
We evaluated the influence of different dry matter matter content and use a silage inoculant on the ruminal protein degradability (RPD) of alfalfa silage. The dry matter content had a significant effect on the RPD values. The silages with the higher drymatter content tend to have a higher RPD values. The inoculation had no effect on RPD values.
