Effects of biological Additives Application on the Quality of Feeds conserved.
Original language description
The inoculant of lactic fermentation bacteria, beside others Enterococcus faecium M-74, was tested in mais silage, and additivum of German provenience on the basis of 5 homo-and heteofermentative Lactobacillus was tested in crushed corn silage prepared in plastic bags. Silages were analysed and assessed according to individual fermentation products. The results in mais silage revealed that the added inoculant increased lactic acid (LA) in dry silage by 45.5% as compared with control one The lower pH value (3.79) and sufficiently high titraiting acidity (2260 mg KOH) sign a sufficient stability. Experimental mais silage had less residual sugars in dry matter (0.17 %), while the control silage of 0.40%. The inoculant added on the basis of 5 homo- and heterofermentative strains of Lactobacillus to crushed corn silage of ca 530 g/kg dry matter led to a higher acidification, to 1.72 x higher LA production, to markedly more favourable ratio of LA/AA (3.74 versus 2.48).
