    The work deals with the examination of meat products from the Czech market. The products have been examined by the immunohistochemical method for the presence of soybean supplement. A group of 252 meat products has been examined; the products were from the following categories: heat treated meat products - frankfurter type and ham type, long-life heat treated products and long-life fermented products. According to the current Czech legislation group of heat treated meat products has no restrictions on the addition of soy supplements. Long-life meat products category has legislative restrictions for selected products.
