The aim of this study was to compare the ruminal organic matter digestibility of ground soybean (GS), solvent-extracted soybean meal (SSBM) and extruded defatted soybean (EDSB) determined in vitro using a rumen fluid buffer system. Samples of studied feedstuffs (0.5 g/tube) were incubated in five replications with buffered rumen fluid (40 ml) at 39°C for 24.0 h. Ruminal in vitro organic matter digestibility was the lowest in GS (47.6 %) and was lower than in SSBM (51.4 %, P<0.05) and tended to be lower than in EDSB (52.4 %, P=0,057).
