Ecological aspects is the corner stone question for each industry in the 21 century. Ecofriendly production of food commodities has been also starting to be an important due to the board number of products and certainly that environment can be significantly affected by food production. The aim of the short communication is to emphasize reasons why the production and development of edible/biodegradable packaging can be considered as a good practice toward sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural production.
