An Analysis of Mistakes in Written Assignments of Students of German
Original language description
Definition of errors that arise in the course of learning a foreign language, developed and changed under the influence of the dominant approaches to teaching foreign languages (from behaviorism through cognitive approach to the communicative approach) .This error analysis is intended as a pilot study project aimed at preventing errors and freely builds on the research project from the years 1990-1993, which analyzed the errors in reception work of applicants German language in college. New research addresses issues, what mistakes committed by German students, this time at the end of their studies at a university in their final written works and which types of errors occur most frequently in these works. The study aims to present a new research project along with its preliminary results.
