Euclidean Primes Have the Minimum Number of Primitive Roots

  • Original language description

Denote by A(p) the number of primitive roots modulo a prime p. We show that for an arbitrary .epsilon. > 0 there exists a prime p such that A(p)/p < .epsilon. . Moreover, for an arbitrary Euclidean prime p we prove that A(q)/q > A(p)/p for all primes q <p.

Eukleidovská prvočísla mají minimální počet primitivních kořenů
