Regulation of mGlu4 metabotropic glutamate receptor signaling by type-2 G-protein coupled receptor kinase (GRK2)

  • Original language description

We examined the role of G-protein coupled receptor kinase-2 (GRK2) in the homologous desensitization of mGlu4 metabotropic glutamate receptors transiently expressed in human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293 cells. Receptor activation with agonist stimulated atleast two distinct signaling pathways: inhibition of cAMP formation and activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway.

Regulace mGluR4 metabotropního glutamátového receptoru typem 2 G-protein spřažené kinázy GRK2

  • Czech description

V našich experimentech jsme zkoumali roli GRK2 v homologní desentizaci Mglu4. Zjistili jsme že aktivace receptoru stimuluje nejméně dvě různé signální kaskády? cAMP a MAPK
