    A lot of cell-based experimental and clinical protocols include application of Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in combination with immunosuppressive agents. This approach combining MSCs with immunosuppressive agents could enable increase in efficacy of these drugs and thus the reduction of their established therapeutic doses. We demonstrated, that low doses of Cyclosporine A, Mycophenolate mofetil and Rapamycin have no significant adverse effect on cell size, granularity, the expression of surface markers, metabolic activity, apoptosis or cell death of MSCs.
