The work describes the methods for testing of optical surfaces, which are based on two-beam interferometry. It is performed a detailed analysis of modern interferometric testing methods together with evaluation methods for interference fields. There is also shown one possible experimental measurement system for testing of the quality of optical surfaces, which uses Fizeau interferometer
