Universal algorithm for the solution of the regulator equation
Original language description
The computational aspects of the output regulation problem are considered. The output regulation problem seeks for the feedback compensator achieving asymptotical tracking with disturbance rejection for a given plant. The references to be tracked and disturbances to be rejected are generated by an autonomous exogenous system. The standard solution is based on the well-known notionof the regulator equation which is usually supposed ad hoc to be solvable and the corresponding solution known. Algorithms tosolve the regulator equation by adapting numerical methods for solving PDE are developed here. To guarantee existence of the solution a kind of regularization has been made. The approach is demonstrated on an example.
