Two-step Commutation Method of the Matrix Converter Based on the Voltage Sign Measurement
Original language description
The paper describes the basic knowledge about two-step commutation method that was realized on our department. This commutation strategy was implemented in VHDL for FPGA and was simulated in Simulink/Modelsim (cosimulation). The new developed two-step method is two-time faster than the formerly implemented four-step method. But the cosimulation in MatLab and Modelsim has proved that it includes some limitations not respected in theoretical analysis.
