Matrix Converter Two-Step Commutation Method Limitations
Original language description
The paper describes the basic knowledge about the matrix converter two-step commutation method that was realized on our department. This commutation strategy was implemented in VHDL for FPGA and was simulated in Simulink/Modelsim (cosimulation). The newdeveloped two-step commutation method is two-time faster than the formerly implemented four-step commutation method. But the cosimulation in MatLab and Modelsim has proved that it includes some limitations not respected in theoretical analysis.
