Matrix Converter Commutation Time Reduction
Original language description
The reduction of matrix converter commutation time can be obtained by means of number of steps decreasing. For this purpose the two-step voltage oriented method was developed. But some limitations of this method occurred, so the solution consisted in combining with four-step method that is naturally two times longer. The new developed two-step current oriented method can overtake the function of four-step one and fix the disadvantage of voltage oriented algorithm. Unfortunately both two-step methods areinapplicable separately.
