Original language description
Teachers constitute one of the key elements behind students’ and schools’ performance and a large focus is put on discussing what makes a good teacher. In the national conversations about how to improve education, researchers sometimes overlook obvious resources - the voices of students. Without students’ input, we have little chance of successfully improving the teaching and learning process. In the report that follows, we heard from students on the critical issue of what makes a good teacher. Results of technical university student essays dating back to 2018 are compared with a similar study conducted 10 years ago.
