    E-marketing represents the usage of information technology in the process of creating, communicating, and bringing value to customers, and for managing customer relationship in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders. E-marketing can be considered to be equivalent to Internet marketing. Everything could be E- today. E-learning, e-marketing, e-mail, e-business, e-loans, e-ticket, e-life, e-government, e-shop ? It?s very important for the companies and for the universities to follow this E- trend. Information is the most valuable asset. Some authors call this situation an information war. The universities have to adapt their system of education to today?s requirements. This paper presents the latest news about e-marketing and about the new project at Faculty of Management and Economics: E-Marketing - new subject at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Faculty of Management and Economics in context of information age.
