    Interaction of Person-Organization Value Fit and Leader Behavior on Employee Commitment

    Many studes habe shown that person-organization value fit affect on employeee commitment, job satisfaction, involvement, commucation, cooperation, and profit gains in organizations. Leader behavior is another important factor affects on employee performance in organizations. However interaction effect of person-organization value fit and leader behavior has been tested very reraly empirically in every part of the world. Hence this study examined the efekt of leader behavior, person-organization value fit and thein interactions on employee commitment in the plantation sector in Sri Lanka. A questionnaire surfy was undertaken to evaluete employees´ratings on these variables. Cronbach´s alpha was above the sufficient level of reliability for all čems in the questionnaire. Hypotheses testing webe done by using Analysis of Covariates. Results supported the hypotheses. Theoretical and practical implications of these results and directions for future research are discussed.
