Complementary navigation systems for mobile robots
Original language description
This paper is focused on the utilization of current state of the art of assistive technologies in man-machine interface for extreme robotics. This work presents sensory systems for assistive technologies developed specifically for the complementary navigation of systems for mobile robots operating in dangerous or disaster area as well as for welfare use of disabled people on the wheelchair. Range-inclination tracer for positioning and control of a mobile robot works on two laser diodes attached onto thefront of the mobile robot. A CCD camera mounted on the front of the mobile robot detects the light ray?s spots on the wall for the computing of the distance and incline against the wall.
