A didactic application of the history of Pilsen and the Pilsen Region

Anotace anglicky

The main objective of the project's authors is to provide a variety of didactic tools and aids for the Pilsen Region teachers, who form the target group, which would make the application of the regional history into the History teaching easier for them.That would be included to a much greater extent than it is currently and would inevitably result in the pupils having greater awareness of the historic, cultural and social development of the region as part of the Czech state as well as Europe. In accordance with the aims of the program the project covers these particular points: 1. Preservation and use of the knowledge in the field of a historic and a cultural continuity or discontinuity in the development of the Pilsen Region as a historic territory of the Czech state, presentation of the findings and their disclosure to the general public. 2. Purposeful promotion of the integration of the regional history and the knowledge of cultural heritage of the Pilsen Region and its protection within an educational process through the didactic processing of the historic,cultural and social development of the Pilsen Region, together with all the aspects of cultural heritage. 3. Creating tools in order to promote the preservation and development of the historicand cultural awareness of the national identity within the European context. 4. Preserving the values of cultural heritage for subsequent generations through integrating this issue into the educational process, applying the issue of cultural heritage tosociety, building a positive attitude towards cultural heritage by its usage within the education based on cognition of the national identity and culture. 5. An effective use of new technologies in History teaching and a practical use of the knowledge and skills whilst forming an individual's cultural orienation.
