Anotace anglicky

Key contribution of the project is to encourage increase in the number of pupils who, after copleting their basic education, decide to continue in technical studies. To achieve this contribution, is important to define reasons for low interest of pupilsin technical education, and to suggest solutions that will eliminate barriers which negatively influence pupils´ interest in technical branches, which are essential for the competitiveness of the Czech Republic. Firstly, analysis of current state and conditions of technical education at basic schools will be done. Secondly, information about innovative and attractive teaching methods used at some schools in the Czech Republic and abroad will be collected, and these methods will be described. Subsequently, materials encouraging pupils to follow their studies in technical education will be designed. These materials will emphasis on interactivity, originality and application in subjects of "practical activities" and "workroom activities". Finally, application of designed teaching methods in existing information systems run by state administration will be suggested. One of the targets is to introduce proposals for process of innovative methods into existing education framework program of basic schools andto support systematic steps leading to development of creativity, technical education, craftmanship, perception of real word, teamwork and other skills subsequently used in technical education at high schools and in praxis. In the context of aims of program BETA, the outputs of this project will contribute to application of new methods and educational approachces that will improve quality of tools essential for systematic and methodical activity of state administration and that are desired for pupils and consequently for their employers. The outputs of this project will be used in existing programs of applied Research and Development and Innovation, icnluding in programs concerned with needs of state administration.
