At present, experimental base for forest tending research contains 61 objects (221 comparative plots). In the stands of experimental objects a wide spectrum of tree species is represented, mainly spruce (Picea abies Karst.), pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), oak (Quercus sp.), birch (Betula sp.) and blue spruce (Picea pungens Engelm.). All data bases are digitized and saved for additional data processing. At present, the register of experimental base is published on the home pagesof Research station Opočno and can be used in the solution of the new projects, and also consulting, expert and pedagogic activity.
