The aim of the meetings was to inform regularly all members about the most important activities regarding the status and progress of EGDI, the contribution to the EPOS, the status of the GSEU and related work plans, the draft of the EGDI management, new EU programs and initiatives, priority research topics, plans and news. The CSA GSEU project will start 1 September 2022, and will finance the operation and development of EGDI for the duration of the project. In detail, the outcomes of the GeoERA GIP and lessons learned were discussed. The results of the project were evaluated, the evaluators were selected from the ranks of scientists, customers, international experts - everything was evaluated the best, which was a success. EGDI governance and management proposal was presented, which will be further discussed with ExCom and EGS GA. Meeting with DG CNECT on Destination Earth Initiative and High Value Datasets was organized on 8 March 2022, where EGDI as EGS online digital information platform was presented, pointed at EGDI potential contribution to Common European Data Spaces.
